Cross references in generated documents

Hi all,
I realised that if the M2Doc template contains cross references for fixed text, such as a reference to an entry of the applicable documentation, the generated document will contain the message “Error! Reference source not found.” Is this the expected behaviour? Am I forced to use Link services?

Can you provide a small reproduction case ? May be in an issue. This sound like something missing in the initialization of the BookmarkManager.

I created a dummy project. I am attaching a simple template including a “static” cross-reference and generated document. Word bookmark text is lost in the generated, once fields are updated.
I would also suggest removing M2Doc specific document properties starting with “m:” from the generated document. I am doing this with a small python-docx script, when distributing the final document.
