In my mind, the white-box abstraction level of logical architecture (LA) is similar to IBDs of SysML. Therefore, I am trying to allocate interfaces to subsystems in LA. However, only system analysis (SA) has the option of contextual detailed interface (CDI).
How can I create an interface in LA? I defined my data in LA and therefore would like to allocate interfaces to sybsystems using that data, in LA.
Example,
I want separate interfaces for each of the 3 exchanges shown here. S1 and S2 communication is different from S2 and SS1. When directionality of ports is also taken into account, this would become more complex.
I understand that Interface Scenarios (IS) exist but all I can do is create messages which do not add any meaningful information to the exchanges - I don’t know what (kind) of data is being exchanged.
Could somebody please help me out?
