Hi everyone!
I’m pleased to announce that I will be the chairman for the next Capella Webinar featuring Alan Martin Redmon, on 15 May.
Alan is a Senior Consultant & Project Innovation Manager and a Business Development Engineer. Where he focuses primarily on Mobility, Energy and Industry, and Defense and Security. He is also a member of the ThinkMind // Modern Systems committee, international conferences of Modern Systems Engineering Solutions.
The webinar will be based on the European project Demo-BLog, which focused on the development of an automated renovation advice tool.
The objective was to define the system requirements at an abstract level, starting with an Interface Control Document between the target system CLEA (Digital Building Logbook) and the BDNB database (National Building Database). The approach chosen was based on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), using the Capella tool and the Arcadia methodology.
The process included several steps: operational analysis, system needs analysis, logical architecture, and considerations of the physical architecture.
The main result is the development of the preliminary requirements for the French demonstration, while also highlighting the benefits of MBSE: improved communication, better management of system complexity, improved product quality, risk reduction, and improved knowledge capture and reuse.
As always, the webinar video replay will be uploaded to YouTube two weeks after the main event, with a first-week access for everyone that answered the post-webinar survey. Every question left unanswered during the event will be posted here with a direct response from Alan.
Don’t miss our webinar!
We look forward to seeing you there!
