Using Capella for a product configurator

Hello Community,

i am looking for an open source MBSE Tool for my thesis and found Capella.
Now I’m wondering if this Tool is suitable for my problem.
In my thesis i am trying to build a variant configurator for a rather simple technical product. Therefore i need a tool which allows me to define which components need to be combined when a specific Parameter is given to the model.
Due to my work with Cameo I’m quite familiar with SysML, but have no idea about Arcadia. Is Arciadia suitable for this kind of project?
