Unique Naming Conventions for Capella Model elements?

Hello,

How to customize the naming conventions of Capella model elements?
For example in “PAB” diagram,
By default “Node PC” element naming conventions are displayed as “PC1” “PC2”…
Element " Physical Function" naming conventions are displayed as “PhysicalFunction1” “PhysicalFunction2” and soon…
My ask is that how to customize ( provide unique) naming conventions to the Capella elements?

Hi Balamurali,
I don’t think you can easily. One way could be to develop a Capella Viewpoint to change the default naming. Another way could be to write a Python script that rename things automatically. But I suppose this is not what you’re looking for really.
Anyway, these names are just default names and should be changed by the user once an element is created I suppose.
