SFDB diagram - connect port of sub-function to the port of parent function

Hello,

In the below SDFB diagram at System Analysis level, is it possible to connect port of sub-function to the port of parent function?

Hi @arunkumarr, short answer; No.
Long answer; what is the semantic meaning you are trying to attribute to this relationship? In what circumstance do you think this would make sense? Think of the sub-functions as all required in order to perform the containing function. The containing function is just being expressed in more detail via the sub-functions. Therefore, there would never be a functional exchange between a sub-function and its containing function.
