PPR in Arcadia method (Capella)

Is there any diagram which can be used to make a PPR model (Product, Process and Resources) in Capella?

Hi @TJ771, welcome to the forum.

I think you could use an Operational Architecture Blank [OAB] view to define something like this. The product would need to be defined as an Operational Entity (OE). The processes would be Operational Activities (OA) and the resources would be a mixture of OEs and Operational Actors.

Based on your description though it sounds like you are trying to define something that might be better modelled using BPML or ArchiMate.

Thank you @woodske for your reply. But I need to map the processes with the logical/physical functions showing that the processes fulfill that functions. The PPR model gives an overview of the whole production system or operation of the product.

I’m not very familiar with PPR concepts. But I believe you could model this in Capella, although it may not be the ideal choice. The use of justification links within Capella demonstrates that the functions within the solution architecture support the processes (Operational Activities) defined during the OA perspective. Although this does not appear to be what you are trying to demonstrate.

My limited knowledge of PPR suggests you are actually trying to undertake some sort of Enterprise analysis and this isn’t really a use case for Arcadia/Capella.
