I sometimes have this error message when I launch the Capella, I work with Capella 6.1 and Ubuntu 22.04 local machine. What is that Java Problem and is there any way to solve it?
I don’t know exactly why it is displaying this but this sometimes happens. The starting process is CPU intensive and so the Operating System sometimes just think that the program is not responding. Just click on Wait and … wait… and Capella should start nicely in any case.
(Well, that is what I am seeing on Windows, assuming it is the same behavior under Linux)

Yes, I also do the same, I just click wait and wait … I only thaught it could be fixed somehow. Thank you Stephane!
Well it should start in less than 30 seconds, so there may be another problem if this is not the case.

Well it is the case most of the time, sometimes only it takes a bit more, and sometimes it doesn’t even happen
Ok, so my guess is that it would depend on the availability of the hardware resources on your laptop. For example, we see that Zoom slows down significantly Capella (not only at startup), especially when sharing your screen.
