Images in the text section of a requirement

Hello,
I have a question regarding the images in the text section of a requirement in Capella. When I copy-paste an image in this text section, I have two kinds of URL very different (without choosing anything).

First case, the image I paste is added to the images folder of my Capella template :
C:/Capella 6.1/Workspace/.../images/20250617_093750_628230.png.

Second case, the image I paste has an URL like that : data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoA...

Can someone explain me why I get two different types of link by making the same proccess? And is there a way to choose one method or the other ?

Hi Souail,

I don’t know why there are two different mechanisms to reference images in the requirements addon. You probably need to ask the question on the main section of this forum. But M2Doc should be able to handle both absolute and embedded images.
