How to enter alternate scenarios in the Alt block?

How do I enter the dashed line in the Alt block do distinguish between alternate scenarios.

Create your ALT, PAR etc on the diagram. Then use the Operand element in the palate. Click near the top of the ALT, PAR etc to add it. Josh
