How can I show Parts in an xAB diagram?

In my SAB diagram, I have the system, part(s) and some actors. I wish to show the parts inside the system block. I remember being able to do this some time ago but when I try it now, it doesn’t seem to work (v6.1). All the relevant settings are enabled.

The element in the diagram is a part. If I am able to show the System Component “Gateway”, my problem may be solved. However, when I try to delete the part “Gateway”, I see a protected service under it.

However, this service does not come up anywhere in the Project Explorer. Has my project been corrupted? What can I do to resolve this?

Edit: another issue I found. I am unable to change the name of items no matter what I try. The editable field reflects it but the Project and Diagram explorers don’t. Maybe it is related to my original question.

I have not looked further into your issue but my assumptions is that at the SA level, the SOI is a black box. You are not supposed to be able to decompose it, to explain how it is going to answer the need.
