General guide for developing physical architecture

Hello all,
I have been working with Capella for a few weeks and would appreciate your guidance on the physical architecture.
Background:
I began by defining the system’s components and functions, and then proceeded to explain the logical components and their corresponding functions.
So, I started with functions first - I created the logical function diagram first, then allocated those functions to their corresponding logical components.

Then, I deployed this to the physical nodes. At this point, I understand the actual interface between the sensor and the ECU. We have SPI and SENT 2 interface.

Questions:

  1. As I can not allocate component exchange to more than one physical exchange, what is the best way to go ahead?
  • Should I update the function into two and create two function exchanges, then 2 component exchanges, and then allocate to each physical link?
  1. I can show only one link between the Sensor and the ECU, as in all examples
However, I don’t think this is the right way to represent it - where I will show that it has both SENT and SPI?

1 - This thread should help: Component Exchange allocation to physical links

2 - “I can show only one link between the Sensor and the ECU” → I do not understand that point. You are showing 2 links between the Sensor and the ECU, what is your problem?
