Export files in XML format in Capella

Hello everyone,

I’ve been working on a project in Capella 6.1.0 and noticed that there is an option to export files in XML format. Despite this option being available, I’m encountering difficulties when attempting the export — the process doesn’t seem to complete successfully, and no XML file is generated.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? Could you provide a step-by-step guide on how to properly export a Capella project to an XML file?

I appreciate any advice or insights you can share!

I don’t think you can “export as XML”. I suspect there is a simple reason for this: Capella models are stored by default as XML.

Thank you for the clarification. I’m interested in finding a way to translate MBSE models from Capella into model-based design models in Simulink. Are there any known tools or techniques for integrating Capella and Simulink to achieve this?
