Error with FE Cat + Contextual Element + Unsynchronized diag

Hello community,

I have an issue using FE Cat in an unsynchronized diagram (xDFB) with a Function used as contextual element. I’m using Capella 7.0.

The issue is that when i create severals FE Cat(egories) linked to FEs, when Cat are inserted (displayed) in an unsynchronized diag with a function as contextual element, the diagram will sometimes both display FE Cat and FE (and not only the FE Cat).

Little use case to explain

  1. In [LDFB1], create these 2 functions and 1 FE:
    [ F1 ] ----FE1—> [ F2 ]

  2. In [LDFB2], unsynchronize diagram, then in Properties > Contextual Elements > Select F1

  3. if you create Cat1 = FE1, then Cat2 = FE1
then if you display on [LDFB2] Cat1, Cat1 is displayed and FE1 is not → it’s normal
or if you display on [LDFB2] Cat2, Cat2 and FE are displayed → not normal

→ i don’t get it, sometimes when i reproduce it’s the opposite : the behavior is normal with the 2nd Cat created. Anyway it seems linked to multiple Cat on a same FE.

At first i thought it was because of sub-functions in contextual+unsynchronized diagram, and then because of multiple Cat and the order of Cat creation, but it seems to be due at least because of multiple Cat on a same FE.
And i need these Cat to display on different diagrams ‘sub-groups of FE’ with different abstraction levels.

If my analysis is correct, any suggestion to realize my need ?
Or could it be fixed ?

Have a good day,
Pierre
