CubeSat model in Capella

Hello Capella Community,

I hope this post finds you well. I’m currently working on a project involving CubeSat modeling in Capella and am reaching out to see if any of you have existing CubeSat models that you’d be willing to share.

If you have experience or expertise in CubeSat modeling within Capella, your insights would be highly valuable. Whether it’s a full-fledged model or specific aspects, any contribution would be appreciated.

Feel free to reply to this post or send me a direct message if you’re open to discussing this further or sharing your experiences. Let’s collaborate and enhance our collective knowledge in CubeSat modeling with Capella!

Thank you in advance for your contributions.

Hello,

I’m also currently working on modeling a student CubeSat Mission in Capella. I don’t have to much experience yet but would really appreciate if we might could have a little chat about it. Feel free to reach out to me.

Cheers,
Olli

Not sure if there’s a ready-made CubeSat model publicly shared, but you might get a good starting point by building it layer by layer in Capella (operational → system → logical → physical). That’s usually how CubeSat projects are structured anyway. I’ve seen examples where people reuse generic system architecture templates and adapt them for subsystems like payload, power, etc., which makes things much easier.
