Change REC Source element

Hello,

I made a REC and I would like to change the REC source elements (i.e. elements being pointed at by the REC) for my REC to point to elements of a RPL.

What I tried:

  1. Update REC, and remove all elements
  2. Select all elements of my RPL
  3. Update REC from selected RPL

I expected that to change the REC to point towards all elements of my RPL and none of my original REC.

However, all it did is delete my REC from the model.

How do you change a REC source elements?

If you want to change elements of your REC you can do it directly in your REC (and update your RPL). The Elements are marked with a [REC].
The REC is not pointing to a RPL - the RPL is pointing to the REC.

To make it more clear and to separate REC from your model put your REC in a library. You can modify your REC in the Lib just as you want…
