Capella 6.1.x Installer for Mac is damaged and can't be opened

Hello everyone,

As stated in the subject of my post, I cannot install Capella on Mac because when I extract and double-click on the application, a popup shows saying “The app you’re trying to open is damaged and can’t be opened. You should put it in the bin”.
I remember I had the same issue 4-5 months ago.

Does anybody have the same issue?
Any suggestions on how to solve this?
I am running an ARM based Mac (so I downloaded the aarch64 version; I also tried the 64bit, but I have the same result)

Thank you,

Flavio

Did you watch the install video on the Capella download page? It should help you with that. It is not easy to spot, but if you click on the “i” icon next to the Mac Coca text, you’ll see the link to the video.

Thank you for the hint Stephane!
The “i” did not work, but I got into the installation section and followed what was written in the Wiki. I had to create an exception for the app “quarantine” since it was not installed from the App Store. Thanks a lot!

Do you mean that you were not able to see the video link when clicking on the “i” or that the video content did not help?
