Can't run Python Scripts

Hey everyone, for some reason I’m having issues running a Python script.

I have an old workspace where I created a Python4Capella project. When I attempt to run a script here it works just fine.

I recently created a new workspace where I’m leveraging git repositories and have cleaned things up a bit. I created a local Python4Capella project in this workspace as well, but for some reason I can’t run anything from the contextual menu…

I have attempted to uninstall/re-install python4capella and that didn’t solve the problem and as far as I can tell the configuration of the PyDev interpretter as well as the scripting locations are the same in both projects. I feel like I’m missing something obvious but can’t figure it out… Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

Capella hides developer capabilities by default. This is a workspace preference so my guess, you didn’t enable them in your new workspace. You can have a look at this page for more details.

I think this could be also referenced in the configuration section of the main page… I’ll do that.

Oh wow that was it!! It’s actually the same thing in Excel, where you can’t get to any of the macros unless you’re showing the developer tab on the tool bar haha.

Thank you SO much, and yeah adding that to the configuration section would be super helpful.
