Cannot copy/paste project

Hello,

This is on Capella 7.0. I am trying copy/paste to create a renamed copy of a project. But the paste button is grayed out:

I found a few discussion on the forum and instructions in Help. I did close the project, but after copying the grayed button is grayed out.

I tried copying with Ctrl-C and also via right-click menu and Edit menu.

Help is appreciated :slight_smile:

Hi Mirko,
Try without closing the project (but not opening the aird = not opening the Capella session). You should be good.

First, thank you for the quick reply.

To summarize my steps:

  • Save Project
  • Close Project
  • Open Project. Only afm, aird, capella files are available (along with any others in the directory)
  • Right click on project (not aird or any others) and click copy
  • Right click anywhere in Project Explorer and selected paste
  • Dialog opens for new directory and new project name. Provide info and proceed.
