Hi guys,
I am currently working on a Capella model, in detail at the Physical layer.
I completed my architecture, and I tried to validate my model, but Capella gives me the following error: “Multiple root Components detected in Physical Architecture”, ID DWF_DC_38.
I went through the structure folder of the Physical Architecture to see if there are components and nodes with the same name, but there aren’t.
Is there anyone who can help me in fixing this error?
Thank you so much for your time and consideration!!!
Typically, this would mean that you have more than one root Physical Component at that level:
Only one is allowed at this level, and the tool should prevent you from creating a second one at this level. But I remember there was a bug in a previous Capella version where, by moving Components with your mouse in the project explorer view to reorganize them, you could move one to the upper level and enter this case. This could also happen if you are using programmatic ways to create/modify model elements (like using Python4Capella).
