Model change between Capella 1.3.0 and 1.3.1

Hi,
I have noticed that the capella meta-model has changed between the 1.3.0 version and the 1.3.1. In particular for the FunctionalChainInvolvement element which became abstract in Capella 1.3.1.
With this meta-model modification, I have to build 2 versions of my viewpoint for Capella 1.3.x (one for 1.3.0 and one for 1.3.1).
Is it normal ? For me between 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 there shouldn’t be meta-model modifications.

Hello,
You are right, in theory, we avoid metamodel changes between two minor versions. This time however, we made a different choice for several reasons. We have weighted the pros and cons and concluded that we would “break the rule”. The result is that 2 significant evolutions to Capella (composition of functional chains and addition of sequence/control links in functional chains) are now available for everyone 6 months before the delivery of the next major version.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your fast answer.
