Hello Arun,
For reason of stability for the end-users, we don’t move immediately to the latest versions of Eclipse. We wait for the minor releases 2/3 for experimental builds, with all the issues of integration we face.
You can try to install Capella on the latest version of Eclipse but generally we encounter regressions. It is without guarantees.

Hi Benoit,
Do you not think that if Capella would synchronize to the Eclipse release cycle, those integration issues would be much easier to tackle? Oxygen is out and Capella still hasn’t released a Neon-based version yet, and new code is committed all day long into that release branch. If tomorrow you find a bug in any of the neon components that prevents proper integration what are you going to do? Who is ever going to fix a bug in a 2 year old maintenance branch? Maybe Obeo, because they get paid, but that’s about it. I’d rather hop on the release train and get the chance to find integration issues while they can still be fixed.
