".aird" broken after computer crash

Hello to All in the community,

I’ve got the following problem  - my computer was crashed caused by power cut-off, and after that I’m not able to open the “.aird” model (its icon is marked by red “x”) getting following error:

Error while loading representations file
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.impl.ResourceSetImpl$1DiagnosticWrappedException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseExceptionpublicId: platform:/resource/DEL/DEL.aird; systemId: platform:/resource/DEL/DEL.aird; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Content is not allowed in prolog.

Is there any way to restore or repair the model? Didn’t find anything in the help…
:anguished:

Hi,
A few ideas:

  • first copy/save your Capella project/files before attempting this
  • Right click on the aird file and select “Repair”
  • If it failed, right-click on the aird file and select Team->Show Local History - it is unlikely local history is activated but in case it is, you may be able to get a previous version
  • another alternative may be to open your aird file with a text editor and see if you see anything obvious missing, comparing it with another aird that you create from scratch
    I hope this helps.
